INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Whole Milk (*1)
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1 Teaspoon Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup
  • 1/2 Teaspoon White Sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Coffee Grounds
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Smidgen of Ground Nutmeg
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • 2–3 Graham Crackers
  • Chocolate Syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, bring the 2 cups whole milk to a simmer in a pot, then add the chocolate stirring constantly until the chocolate has melted.
  2. Then add 1 Teaspoon Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup, 1/2 teaspoon white sugar, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon coffee grounds, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, & 1 pinch of nutmeg (*2).
  3. While your hot chocolate is cooling, microwave a small plate of marshmallows for 10-15 seconds. Dip the top of your mugs in the marshmallows & then into a plate of crushed graham crackers.
  4. Once the top of your mugs are coated in marshmallows & graham crackers, carefully pour your hot chocolate into your mugs.
  5. Finally, make a small pile of mini marshmallows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper & broil them for 10-20 seconds, or until golden. *3-4

NOTES
*1. Of course Heavy Whipping Cream would make it creamier & low fat milk would be slightly healthier but less creamy.
*2. Make sure all of the ingredients are ground very well, if they aren’t you might need to strain the drink before enjoying your hot chocolate.
*3. PLEASE be very careful with this last step! If you don’t watch it the entire time there is a high chance that it will burn.
*4. My mom walked in while I was making this & recommended wax paper instead of parchment paper. I haven’t tried it, but mother knows best?
